Cet artiste touche à tout grandit en écoutant Burning Spear, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley et Bob Dylan, et commence à écrire ses propres chansons à 12 ans. Son premier single « Lions », sorti en 1999, connaît le succès en France et en Allemagne. Son mélange de reggae, de soul et de folk attire l'attention de grandes maisons de disques et son premier album, « Ancient Spirit », sort l'année suivante. Depuis, Patrice continue à sortir des albums teintés de pop, de reggae, de soul et même parfois de rock et voit sa communauté de fans grandir jours après jours.
