This video contains very short excerpts of pieces I have played on my previous Kawai acoustic upright. Please see my other videos to compare the sound. 1. Chopin - Etude Op. 10, No. 1 2. Debussy - Suite Bergamasque: Prelude 3. Joe Hisaishi - Ashitaka and San 4. Chopin - Ballade No. 2 My intention is to give an idea of how the GP-6 sounds recording internally to a USB stick vs external microphones. I used the TASCAM DR-40X (which I used with the Kawai) as well as the iPhone 15 Pro for external recording. The piano was setup with the Stage Piano setting, which I think sounds the most realistic. Several tone settings were modified to tailor it further to my taste, but I am still experimenting to find the best combination of settings. This is not a scientific setup by any means, but hopefully helps give some expectations about the audio coming out of the GP-6. There was no audio post-processing applied, so there is no EQ or effects that I would have used when I recorded my previous acoustic. I also could not place the TASCAM in a similar position I would have, so take that into consideration when listening.
