BEST 3 BOOK STORES TO FIND AMERICAN COMIC BOOKS IN TOKYO - JAPAN

In this video, I will show you 3 book stores where you find American comic books in Tokyo, Japan. These shops have a bunch of old and new Marvel and DC comic books. I’m going to be honest with you, there aren't many shops which sell US comics in Japan which is quite normal I think, as manga is extremely popular here in Japan. It’s also quite difficult to find some good shops on google. If you are a collector and you are looking to buy golden, silver and bronze age comic books it is challenging, but not impossible. I recently discovered a really cool bookstore which sells American comic books and I haven’t seen foreigners visit that store! (which is also normal because the borders are closed). Last time, I went there, I bought Ironman #13 (1968) and Spider-man 179 (1978). There is only one comic book store where you can purchase golden, silver and bronze age comic books. Therefore, if you are a collector looking for old comics, stay tuned for the end of the video. 1- Blister: It is probably the most famous American comic book store and the easiest to find. It is located about 10 minutes on foot from Akihabara station. They mainly sell US comic books from the 90’s till now. The good thing is that they have quite a large variety as well as new releases. Their store is pretty cool, they have figurines all over the place. I haven’t seen any golden, silver, bronze age comics yet. But they have signed comics from the 90's and 2000. They have comics ranging from the 90’s to now. It's similar to the previous shop (blister) but a bit smaller. They also have new releases. If you don’t know, the Jimbocho area is very famous for books and curry. This American comic book store is definitely a gem! Not many collectors are aware of the location of this secret shop. On the first floor, you can find golden, silver and bronze age comics and also really cool movie posters. On the second floor, there is a cafe where you can relax, get a drink or a snack and have the possibility to read comics. It is seriously fantastic if you like to collect old comics. I’m telling you that not many people know about that store. I really hesitated to share this awesome location.
