We have water! Fortunately we didn't need to get a well dug. We have water at the street. We also were blessed to have two taps. We just got a residential water meter, and a second meter for agricultural use installed. In order to get water to the utilities shed, and to the sawmill barn, we needed to trench. In this episode, we do just that. With a Toro TRX20, we trenched about 300 feet to where we set up a temporary frost-proof Simmons yard hydrant. We then trenched another 200 feet on the East driveway towards the Sawmill Barn where we'll be putting another yard hydrant. I ran 3/4" PEX pipe as that is the size at the water meter.
