"Moochdocking" in NC — Visiting the

Join me on my first trip to the beautiful Sandhills region of North Carolina! This past July, I spent time in Foxfire, Pinehurst, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen, soaking in as much beauty (and heat!) as I could. I explored several local breweries, checked out the B'Hawk Distillery, and stopped by the unique Locomotive Engine Bar 87. I even got to see the world-famous Pinehurst No. 2 up close! The highlight of the trip was spending quality time with my cousins while "mooch-docking" on their property. We wandered the gorgeous Uwharrie Mountains, did a little kayaking, and took peaceful walks with the dogs. It was HOT, so I didn’t get to do as many outdoor activities as I hoped—but the scenery and family time made it absolutely worth it. This was my first time experiencing the Sandhills, and I fell in love with the area’s calm, sandy charm and natural beauty. Already can’t wait to go back!
