Wearing an edema glove can be a very effective way to decrease swelling in your hand. However, sometimes you may not feel as if the glove fits your hand correctly. With all those little joints in your hands, there are many areas where fluid and swelling can accumulate. And sometimes an edema glove just doesn't seem to target the swelling between your fingers or your palm. Luckily gauze can help you fill those gaps between your fingers! This video will show you how to place gauze between your fingers before you put your glove on. Keep in mind, an edema glove alone will not eliminate swelling. Active pumping and exercise in combination with light compression from an edema glove can be effective ways to decrease hand swelling.
