Nantes to La Rochelle Cycle Tour

Trudy and Mike follow Eurovelo 1 or La Vélodyssée as it is known in France, from Nantes to La Rochelle on a leisurely cycle tour. This was a package cycling holiday from a company called Evazio,. All we had to do was arrange the flight to Nantes and the return flight from La Rochelle, both conveniently by EasyJet from and to Bristol in the United Kingdom. Evazio arranged the bike hire, the hotels, and the luggage transfer between hotels each day. The route is easy to follow and is either dedicated cycle paths or very quiet roads. We chose to have an extra nights stay at both Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and La Rochelle. I highly recommended this holiday, check out the Evazio website for this and many other cycle tours.
