W3 take on Beaconsfield in the league! ► Join the discussion here! https://www.gasroom.org/t/match-threa... It’s been something of a roller coaster ride this season for the Rams. After winning promotion, staying unbeaten with only four points dropped, it was down to earth with a big bang on the opening day of this season when they lost 7-1 at home to the Chairgirls. Melton (3), Watkins, Potter, Hill and Hoesli-Atkins were on target that day. Beaconsfield recovered well, with three successive victories, 2-1 over both Reading and Portchester, and 5-1 against Badshot Lea. They have a W5-D0-L4 record, with 21 goals scored and conceded, and have proved to be competitive but had a heavy 6-1 loss at home to Oxford City last week. In the Cups, they lost 5-0 at home to tier 4 Chatham Town in the FA Cup and lost 2-0 at home to New Bradwell St Peter in the County Cup. They have come through two rounds in the League Cup, 6-1 against Chesham Devs and on penalties against Slough Town two weeks ago. They withdrew from the Combined Counties Cup after being drawn away against the Chairgirls. We can expect to to see several ex-Chairgirls lining up for the Rams, such as Alix Todd, Katie Riddington, Freya Harris, Ruby Harris, Ashleigh Harte, Poppy Lloyd, Bonnie Messitt and Mia Parkin. Sarah Davern recently moved to Slough Town, Molly Carter hasn’t played for a few weeks, she may have departed. The leading scorers are Henna Hussain and Freya Harris, on six each, and Katie Riddington on five.
