Monster Prom is CYOA, competitive dating sim game where gameplay takes place at a high school for monsters where you have to find a date for the upcoming prom through dialogue choices for the Monster Prom gameplay. 'In the Tub With' is a work in progress series in which I'll take a one off look at a game and it’s gameplay. I'll attempt to show off gameplay, the mechanics and provide some of my first impressions. It is in no way intended as a review but rather as a source of commentated gameplay footage for anyone contemplating spending money but would like to see it in action first. Monster Prom is the latest game to fall victim to my ‘In The Tub With’ treatment so please try and stick with me as I find my feet in this loose critique of Monster Prom and the Monster Prom gameplay. Developed by Beautiful Glitch, the Monster Prom gameplay is absolutely engrossing. Monster Prom also has interesting presentation with good designs so you may want to check out Monster Prom as the Monster Prom gameplay proves to feel competent. The Monster Prom gameplay is inspired by a similar games such as The Yawhg where gameplay also includes lots of outcomes. Taken directly from its Steam store page, here’s a line or two about Monster Prom and it’s gameplay: There’s only 3 weeks left before prom and you haven’t got a date yet..and you’re a monster. But that’s okay ‘cause at your high-school everyone else is too! These are the stepping stones into the world of Monster Prom, a one-to-four player competitive dating sim that has you thinking: I never knew I was into that! Released onto Steam on 27th April 2018 the Monster Prom gameplay is like nothing I've experienced and my first impressions are really, really good, although the Monster Prom gameplay is incredibly strange I find it very compelling. The Monster Prom gameplay has endings I’m willing to explore and although at it's core it's a CYOA, somehow it's enough in this crazy little game. The style of Monster Prom is brilliant and it fits the gameplay suitably. In my first impressions and gameplay of Monster Prom I think it’s easy to see the game has a certain degree of charm. Monster Prom is currently released on Steam and priced at £9.29. In my opinion, buy this game, it's quirky but lovable and deserves your time. I can honestly say, the Monster Prom gameplay is an enjoyable experience that has kept me engaged and wanting to see where it goes.
