Oyster sauce makes everything better. This magical ingredient is criminally underrated! It's not fishy like soy sauce, and no it won't make your whole dish taste like oysters. Rather, when combined with tofu, meats, and vegetables it transforms sauces and flavors like you wouldn't believe! Today we dive deeper into various brands, do a little taste test, and cook a simple chicken stir fry! We've tagged a few oyster sauce brands we mention in the video as well as a gluten-free, green label oyster sauce (note this isn't vegetarian—we couldn't find the link), and we earn a small commission if you make a purchase via these links. But the best (and cheapest) place to buy it is a local Chinese or Asian grocery store! One brand we don't mention in the video is Megachef, it's a Thai brand that is respected and also loved though a little bit harder to find. We have tried it but our family prefers Lee Kum Kee.
