It has been quite awhile since my last video update mainly due to Covid lockdown restrictions, cold weather and the majority of work being done underground since the installation of the box jack. Other work such as the rough placing of sleepers and track for the Up Stamford line have been done overnight. So there has been little to report on a daily basis. The site is gradually being wound down with some offices being removed, fencing going up and general tidying up, spoil is being removed in vast quantities each day with a never ending stream of lorries. The main work now will be centred around Hurn Road to complete the northern ramp trackbed into the tunnel, the creation of Marholm Junction at Walton and slewing the Up Stamford line at Hurn Road, then track laying from Glinton Junction through the tunnel to Marholm Junction.
