DAILY CRAFTING WRITS Without any Champion Point boosts, each maxed out crafter character can net you 4.6k gold per day with Crafting Writs, going up to around 7k once you’ve slotted the related CP. This is the most consistent way to make gold in ESO with the least effort. Your crafter characters need to be at least Level 6 to unlock Crafting Writs, and you’ll need around 70-80 skill points to fully max all the skills you’ll need to complete crafting writs at peak efficiency. This method scales up the more crafters you have — with 3, that’s a base of nearly 14k gold from Writs per day. Crafting Writs also yield extremely high-value materials that you can sell in chat even without joining a guild. You’ll also need these materials yourself eventually, so they’re worth hanging on to. Of special note are Crafting Surveys, which reveal large caches of raw materials you’ll use to replenish your stock for completing more Writs. 2. THIEVING & MURDERING Items gained from stealing from NPCs, murdering them, and looting environmental objects yield 40-500 gold each, which you can increase with passive skills like Cutpurse’s Art and Infamous in Craft CP. Assassinating NPCs is fun, and breaking into houses and stealing from the environment adds a GTA-like flair to this thoroughly fantasy MMO. Four separate skill lines will help you here: Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood. You unlock Thieves Guild in Hew’s Bane if you have the DLC or ESO Plus, and Dark Brotherhood is unlocked in Gold Coast (also DLC). As an extra bonus, consider becoming a Vampire to increase your sneakiness and add another way to murder those delicious NPCs. You can become a Vampire directly from the Crown Store, being bit by a Vampire NPC (found in Bangkorai, Reaper’s March, or The Rift), or being bit by a vampire infected with Noxiphilic Sanguinosis (7-day cooldown) Last but not least, Legerdemain will help you open Safeboxes and secure you better returns at Fences. This method also synergizes with leveling more crafter toons since you can give them the gear you find to deconstruct. Simple Magicka builds with Wall of Elements of Stamina builds with Stampede work well here. You might want to take down mini-bosses as well for variety, but don’t get bogged down. The key here is speed.
