In this video, I compare and swap the stock bridge on my 1996 Fender Telecaster (Made in Japan) for a VanDyke Harms bridge with a Monolith brass saddle. I am not a professional YouTuber, recording engineer, or guitarist. I previously could not find a demo of the VanDyke Harms bridge on YouTube. I could have gone a more traditional route in terms of putting a new bridge and saddles on the guitar, but liked the hammered-brass look of the Monolith saddle. It should be more about how the guitar sounds, but it helps if it looks cool, too. ;) The video is not necessarily scientific in its findings (new strings sound different from old strings), BUT I do find the new VanDyke Harms bridge and saddle to make the guitar WAY more resonant (the whole body and neck of the guitar vibrate and the guitar seems to ring and ring and ring). Overall, I'm quite pleased with the results. This is definitely not a "Paid Promotion," just something that I've done for fun with my iPhone and iMovie.
