We were all wrong with this, all of us. 🫣 🤓 My guitar video course portal! 👉🏻 https://bit.ly/2WLdC5W 🟠Instagram! 👉🏻 @_ale.syt_ https://bit.ly/3eQvvXK 🟢 Endgame on Spotify! 👉🏻 https://open.spotify.com/artist/783Om... Hi guitarists, I'm Alessandro Bianchi, welcome to ShapeYourTone! 🔥 In today's video I'll tell you a little about my experience with a very well-known, discussed and too often derided guitar distortion device. The idea came from a day in my studio where I experimented with different connections, tested amplifiers and guitars and found myself doing what I did when I was 15 or 16. Just trying and experimenting with things to see what would happen, and suddenly I was reminded of this experience I had that was super valuable for my way of playing, thinking about sounds and approaching the equipment I use. . They are not secret things, but I remember that when I realized the topic of today's video it was a revelation for me in a time where the internet and YouTube were not as they are now, arriving at conclusions like this through attempts and experiences is one of the things that the more it gives me satisfaction. The topic concerns the Boss Metal Zone, a pedal made fun of by many metal guitarists for its acid sound, with many high frequencies and for the annoying characteristic of disappearing in the band mix when playing in a group. In my opinion it's time to give the Metal Zone what it belongs to the Metal Zone and also recognize its merits, in fact this is why in my opinion the pedal should be used in a different way compared to the distortions we are used to. Everyone uses the pedal in the amp input, but what if it was used as a preamp? Well, the sound is distorted, beautifully full, rich, perfect for playing any type of metal. In the video I explain how to obtain this sound, what is the best way to use the pedal and I will also let you hear WITH THE SAME SETTINGS, how it changes with the pedal used normally and as a preamp with the same amplifier, a Soundsation Quark 45 which you will discover. The pedal, the amp and the guitars I used can be found here: 🌐 Boss Metal Zone: https://bit.ly/SYT-BOSS-METAL-ZONE 🌐 Soundsation Quark 45: https://bit.ly/SYT-QUARK45 🌐 Soundsation Rider Deluxe: https://bit.ly/SYT-RIDER-DELUXE 🌐 Soundsation Milestone Pro: https://bit.ly/SYT-Milestone-Pro I thank @musicalstore2005 and @SoundsationMusic for all these beautiful things that I use to make videos! 💛 TIMESTAMP 🕒 00:00 Metal! 03:58 The video pedal! 05:26 What does everyone get wrong? 06:45 How to use it the right way 08:20 Audio demo before/after 09:09 But why did I use Quark 45?
