DENTRO UN TEAM DI GO-KART IN UNA GARA INTERNAZIONALE! L’anno scorso siamo PASSati dal Franciacorta Karting Track per vivere il Round 4 della WSK Super Master Series dalla prospettiva di una squadra. Il Modena Kart Racing Team ci ha accolto per l’intero weekend, mostrandoci cosa si cela davvero dietro al lavoro di una squadra ai massimi livelli del karting internazionale. Con oltre 20 anni di esperienza nel settore e diversi titoli nazionali e internazionali già in bacheca, Modena Kart ci ha portato dietro le quinte di un team privato che sfida costantemente le squadre ufficiali. Un punto di riferimento consolidato nel paddock, la realtà fondata dai fratelli Finocchi ha anche assunto il ruolo di team satellite della casa costruttrice Parolin Racing Kart per le categorie KZ2 e OK-N Junior. È proprio l’identità del gruppo Modena Kart a renderlo un concentrato di personaggi e storie universali che abbiamo iniziato a raccontare. Dai giovani talenti emergenti ai professionisti affermati, dai momenti in cui si gioca a quelli in cui si studia, dalle battute alle analisi della telemetria, dalla spensieratezza alla tensione: il nostro weekend con Modena Kart ci ha offerto uno sguardo a 360 gradi sul karting nel campionato dove sono cresciuti piloti del calibro di Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, George Russell, Alex Albon, Andrea Kimi Antonelli e Gabriel Bortoleto. E noi abbiamo visto tante sfumature di questa competizione prestigiosa con altri campioni: tra la professionalità del due volte campione del mondo, due volte campione europeo e vincitore della FIA Karting International Super Cup Lorenzo Travisanutto, l’ironia di un altro vincitore della FIA Karting International Super Cup nonché vicecampione europeo Matteo Viganò, la maturità del futuro campione europeo e pupillo del McLaren Driver Development Programme Christian Costoya e l’entusiasmo del futuro campione italiano nonché vincitore della Coppa del Mondo Gioele Girardello. The Modena Kart Racing Team welcomed us for the entire weekend, showing us what really lies behind the work of a squad competing at the highest levels of international karting. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry and several national and international titles already under their belt, Modena Kart took us behind the scenes of a private team that consistently challenges factory squads. A well-established reference point in the paddock, the team founded by the Finocchi brothers has also taken on the role of satellite team of the Parolin Racing Kart manufacturer for the KZ2 and OK-N Junior categories. It is precisely the identity of the Modena Kart group that makes them a blend of universal characters and stories that we have begun to tell. From rising young talents to established professionals, from playing to studying, from jokes to telemetry analysis, from lightheartedness to tension: our weekend with Modena Kart offered us a 360-degree view on karting in the championship where drivers such as ‪@MaxVerstappen1‬, ‪@charles_leclerc‬, ‪@LandoNorris‬, George Russell, Alex Albon, Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Gabriel Bortoleto grew up. And we saw many shades of this prestigious competition alongside other champions: between the professionalism of two-time world champion, two-time European champion and FIA Karting International Super Cup winner Lorenzo Travisanutto, the irony of fellow FIA Karting International Super Cup winner and European vice-champion ‪@matteovigano7664‬, the maturity of future European champion and ‪@McLaren‬ Driver Development Programme protégé Christian Costoya, and the enthusiasm of future Italian champion and World Cup winner Gioele Girardello.
