You don’t always need to find a very complicated subject to practice sketching or painting. Even in the city, nature can be inspiring. During my walk, I noticed some pods that had fallen from a tree onto the ground. I liked their shape and colors, so I brought them home, and they became the subject of my next sketch-painting. I started with a pen sketch, and as I went along, I began to use different materials—acrylic, Neocolor I, and markers. I think this turned out to be a worthy conclusion to this sketchbook. Which means that the next video will be a sketchbook tour. So, my tip for today’s video is: look for simple, everyday objects that you can draw, or that inspire you with their colors. It’s already deep into autumn here, and the colorful leaves inspire me with both their shapes and their hues. First of all—go outside! As Gandalf said to Bilbo: the world is not in your books and maps, it’s out there! So, head out for a big adventure, explore where you live! Observe everything carefully, take notes, collect, take photos!!! You don’t need to go far—walk around your neighborhood, you’re sure to find something interesting and beautiful! Of course you will, because you’re outside with the intention to discover, and you’re open to finding. Share with me in the comments what inspired you—what you discovered near your home that sparked your creativity, maybe something you had never even noticed before. Let’s set out on a journey along the path of art! See you next time! #artinspiration #mixedmedia #naturesketching #everydayinspiration #autumnart #creativeprocess #sketchbook #neocolor #sketchbookideas
