In this video, I share the long, emotional journey of trying — and failing — and trying again to honour grief through clay. These pieces went through five firings, sandblasting, thermal shock, India ink, a dishwasher, and finally a glaze combination that revealed what they were always meant to become. This is a story about grief, persistence, creative problem-solving, and trusting the wisdom of clay.
