Artist Isabelle Brourman (@loveizzystudio) was shot at with a non-lethal round by a federal agent while documenting ICE clashes in Minneapolis. Brourman, who had “PRESS” written across her drawing board, was sketching the ICE clashes on Nicollet Avenue under extreme conditions. She documented despite the tear gas, flashbangs and crowd control tactics that were being deployed around her. She says a masked agent made eye contact, pointed in her direction and fired a nonlethal round, despite her board displaying press. The round punched a hole straight through her board and ripped through the paper.
