The first proper trip of the year, and one that I've been wanting to do for a long time - visiting Iceland in the depths of winter. Decided to try something a bit more visual/cinematic with this one, so I hope you enjoy. With the weather being a major factor in what you can achieve at this time of year, we headed along the South Coast, battling storms, snowdrifts, and whiteout conditions, but experiencing some pretty magical moments at the same time. After making it as far as Stokksnes and the Eystrahorn, we decided to turn around and head to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula in search of more magically snowy conditions. As well as finding some beautiful winter minimalism, we also got treated to a couple of brain-melting shows from the aurora borealis, making this trip so enjoyable and memorable. ------------------------------------ Like, comment and subscribe, I appreciate all your support! ------------------------------------ In this video: Jack Anstey - / jack_anstey Sarah Rodgers - / theworldwithsarah Elliot Simpson - / elliotjsimpson Callum Thompson - / adventure_cal ------------------------------------ Work with Jack: Jack Anstey is a freelance photographer based in the UK, and is usually living and working remotely in his van.
