It’s finished! Join me in starting at the very end of the Rainbow Mini Charm Square Quilt, with the rolled hem binding made from the backing fabric. Then retrace each step all the way back through the never-ending hand-quilting, the construction, and finally to piecing the sashing onto those original charm squares. A kind of unpicking in reverse, revisiting the decisions, challenges, and small wins that brought the quilt to life. There’s something lovely about seeing a project this way — not as a checklist of steps, but as a reminder of how many layers of making sit inside a finished piece.
