With their 2nd full-length album, Within the Prophecy, Sacrilege adopted more of a metal influence, allowing them to delve even further into a crossover blend where crust punk, hard hitting metal riffing and a mid-paced tempo made the English heads bang. With their open chords, atmospheric melodies and overall organic/roomy sound production, there is no denying their influence was a blueprint for other English bands like Bolt Thrower to pick up the gauntlet and wage war with wild success.
