Moving from his home borough of Brooklyn to attend an Ivy League College he has never looked back. A critically acclaimed, but financially unsuccessful author, his semi-autobiographical novel, Brooklyn Boy, has finally propelled him on to the New York Times bestseller list and into literary stardom. Now hes dealing with book signings, a movie producer who wants him to downplay the Jewish content of his screenplay, a young fan in his hotel room who thinks that fiction is like so over, an estranged-wife who isnt interested in reconciliation, an old friend who wants to help him reconnect with his past and a father who cant quite acknowledge his sons success.
