V Rising 1.1 - NO DLC - Functional PvE Castle Tour - by real life Architect! Neuschwanwinterfell

No DLC + Hallowed Mountain plot + Neuschwanstein + Winterfell This was a tough challenge! I really hoped to create an authentic feeling, rugged castle and show what can be achieved without any paid DLCs. There's a lot of attention to variations and combinations of stone and wood elements to make the castle feel more authentic, which I hope comes across. I took inspiration from a real German castle, Neuschwanstein for the exterior and from Winterfell (Game of Thrones) for the interior. I've loosely imitated both of these while making sure it still works quite efficiently for the gameplay. Floor tiles used: 327 Storeys: 6 DLCs used: Haunted Nights Castle Pack (Free Halloween DLC) (If you spot any paid DLC content, it was a mistake and please let me know in the comments) I hope you like it - If no DLC is not for you and you want bigger and flashier, I have some other videos on my channel to check out! This castle was built in a local save on PC and so I was able to use console commands purely to speed up the process for decorating, with no need for farming. I have taken care though to make sure everything you see can be built on a public server or on PS5. While I say this is a functional castle, you may notice a lack of Castle Heart, Redistribution Engine, Athenaeum, Paper Press, Vermin Nest and Devourer. These are obviously critical for a functional castle at various stages and maybe depending on your playstyle. I personally only use some of these sparingly and only when absolutely necessary for progression during run-throughs of the game and typically remove these or hide them as I approach the end game and they become useless or I no longer need to interact with them. The Castle Heart and Redistribution Engine are hidden within the dead space behind some walls. There is plenty of space in obvious places to make some rearrangements. If you enjoyed it and you want to build something similar you may need to find a server with non-standard settings that includes maximum castle height 6 storeys and a high enough castle tile limit.
