the muffin men 1991 - zappanale no2, NDR1 german television news report

the Art Society of east germany, were a secret organisation who met to listen to zappa music. after the wall came down in 1989 they were free to meet in public. from 1990 they have held an annual zappanale festival. the muffin men were the first western band to travel and play a full set of zappa music to the former east germany. the second festival was held in a small kindergarten in stralsund during summer 1991. the gathering drew great interest as a cultural event in north east germany. Nordwestdeutschen Rundfunk made this documentary report.
