Dapol Fails Again !

Hello and welcome back to Piddle in the Marsh a lot sooner than expected but I have to have another little rant at Dapol for their usual lack of quality control and attention to detail. The O&K JHA Hoppers for Foster Yeoman are stunning models and look fantastic but have been spoilt by the issue I explain. There is a fix, as I show, but we shouldn't have to do this to models, especially ones this expensive ! The washers I used can be got here off EBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1831022918... I am sure you can get them from other places to. I just picked one from the many on EBay. The washers are Nylon, inside diameter 3mm, outside diameter 7mm. I would advise lubricating the axles as well and then giving them a lot of running in with a strong locomotive. I have used a Dapol Class 56 and a Farish Class 60.
