In this video I demostrate my favorite lateral chain stretch. This stretch targets the lateral/ outer hip muscles such as the tesnsor fascia latae and glute medius as well os obliques where they connect to the illiac crest. It also targets the lats and is very effective at lengthening and stretching them as they run through the shoulder at attach at the upper humerus. This stretch may help alleviate low back pain from a tight TFL/ Glute medius. This is an area that is tight on many runners.
