Using aerial research platforms with cloud microphysics instrumentation has allowed us to expand knowledge of the processes that occur inside the clouds. This webinar addresses some examples of microphysical processes that affect, among others. the appearance of Supercool Liquid Water (SLW) and its effects on the formation of icing aircraft. The speaker Jose Luis Sánchez is a full professor at University of León (Spain). He has been teaching for 42 years and researching in the field of atmospheric sciences. He was the editor in Chief of the Atmospheric Research for 10 years, had directed 16 doctoral theses and published more than 120 papers in international scientific journals and has contributed to more than 200 conferences.
