DECISION TIME | Not All Shoes Make The Cut

Not every shoe I purchase and review makes it into my actual running shoe rotation. Many are looked at, several are purchased, and only a few make it in. I do not often talk about the ones that don’t make it. I wanted to make this video explaining why a couple of pairs just didn’t make the cut. They are decent shoes on paper, however they just fell short after putting some miles on them. The first shoes is the Adidas Adizero Boston 10: 1. Too snug, to the point of really restricting foot movement. 2. Too firm, I do not mind a firm ride, but these were too much for my liking. 3. Too heavy, they tended to only feel decent while running quick paces, but then they are too heavy (for me) to use as a tempo shoe. Next is the Skechers Speed Freek: Lockdown was lacking. I don’t mind the stripped down racer feel, but it left me wanting more. Price, for $190, I would rather do a true training companion type shoe (endorphin speed) or spend that little bit more and get a nicer race day shoe.
