In this video you will learn how to make an easy yarn tassel. Tassels make for fun accessories to add to things like shawls, scarves, bags and blankets. Further down there's a free pattern for a shawl with tassels 🥰 STEP-BY-STEP 👀 STEP 1: Start by cutting off 5 meters of yarn, so the tassel gets the same color as the tip of the shawl and cut another 50 cm for assembling the tassel. STEP 2: Wrap the 5 meters of yarn around your hand. (You can also use a book or a DVD case in stead of your hand.) STEP 3: Cut the 50 cm in 2 pieces so you have one piece for around the tassel and for mounting the tassel. STEP 4:Take one piece and put it through the middle of the ball you made from the 5 meters and tie a couple of knots. STEP 5: Take the second piece and tie it around the tassel.
