A few simple hacks for the popular bushcraft Polish Bread Bag. If a long enough adjustable shoulder strap is fitted it can quickly and simply be reconfigured to a rucksack. Handy when a shoulder bag is inconvenient. I am surprised at just how many make a complete hash of buckling the bag. I must admit that it took me some time to hack it and as I haven't seen anyone show how to buckle them the way that I do I have included my method. The webbing on the bottom of the bag is ideal for storing a small sit mat and groundsheet. Unfortunately they can work loose. Sew a strap as shown or better still a pair of strap patches, a once popular way of securing to a bag. I found these on an old rucksack. They were used more as decoration but now serve their intended role. The strap inside the bag is quite annoying therefore I hardly used it until I attached a quick release buckle to it. I was able to attach it to the existing hardware without resorting to any sort of permanent fixture such as sewing. Thanks for taking the time to get this far and I look forward to reading your comments.
