Round 4: Rallye Côte d'Ivoire | Sim Rally Masters | RBR RSF

After three rounds, there has been two retirements to start the season, but last time out I finally had a finish in Italy. Now, it's time for a big gauntlet. Rallye Côte d'Ivoire, a rally steaped in folk-lore as a properly gruelling rally. This one promises to be just as grueling as the tales we've been told. 317, and change, competitive kilometers, of bumpy, rutted, dipped, water-splash, covered gravel roads. To add to the mix, I'm running with a cold and slight fever, so we'll see how well I can traverse the stages and how long it takes for my brain to stop working. But hopefully it'll turn out allright for another finish. Just taking the car to the finish should mean points in this kind of rally... I'll be driving the Mazda 323 BF 4WD Turbo, one of the first proven Gr.A 4WD Turbo cars back at the time of the banning of the Gr.B machines & regulations. The car is still probably the slowest of the AWD cars, with the others being the Lancia Delta HF and Audi 200, but it's fairly nimble, so hopefully it'll be swings and roundabouts in regards to which car will be quicker on any given stage. Additionally, the Kit Cars is in the same class, so on some stages they are likely to be quicker, but maybe this time around we can even dice it with the lighter FWD's.
