This might be the most terrifying depiction of the Antichrist ever painted. At first glance, it’s overwhelming — a monstrous figure with multiple heads, crowned and horned, standing with an inhuman authority. Below him, another beast rises from the sea, its seven grotesque faces staring outward in mockery. The painting is The Number of the Beast is 666, created by William Blake in the early 19th century. Inspired by the Book of Revelation, Blake poured into it his own nightmarish vision of the apocalypse. Every detail here is meant to unsettle: the seven heads symbolizing blasphemy, the horns representing false power, the crowns a mockery of divine rule. This is not just a monster — it is the embodiment of ultimate corruption. For centuries, this image has stood as a warning. A reminder of the terror that lies in humanity’s darkest imagination — and of the prophecy that one day, the Antichrist will rise. 0:00 - Introduction 0:21 - Analysis
