Diesel Brothers is an American reality television series that premiered in 2016 on Discovery Channel. The show features a group of friends from Utah who repair and customize pickup trucks in their workshop. Being one of the top auto shows, some controversies were circling the Diesel Brothers & even rumors of the show being canceled. Dave Sparks, known as "Heavy D," & Dave Kiley, who is famous as "Dave Diesel" or "Diesel Dave," are the protagonists of the show. The auto fans admire them as the best in the modification business & the fans have craved diesel brothers trucks all around the country. But back in 2016, an advocacy group called the Utah Physicians for the Healthy Environment filed a civil lawsuit against the diesel brother trucks. The group made the allegations that the diesel brothers truck produced a shocking 36 times the pollutants and 21 times the particulate matter compared to a regular stock truck. In response, Sparks Motors, Dave expressed that the modifications he conducted were only meant for off-road use & was completely unaware of the violation because he worked with the ‘Environmental Protection Agency’ to ensure compliance. And, in 2020 the court ruled in favor of the advocacy group and three of the diesel brothers cast, Dave Sparks, Keaton Hoskins, Josh Stuart, and their company, Spark Motors, were fined a significant amount of $850,000. But that did not stop the diesel brothers Heavy D & Diesel Dave Kiley from stopping the hit reality series' presentation.
