Due to a request, here's an encode of my full run of Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses. Note that this this isn't the fastest run that exists of this game any more. I later did an improved version of this (5 secs faster) and you can find it at TASvideos: http://tasvideos.org/1921M.html --- It's a shame that so many early levels are just meandering jumping around that you can do nothing to speed up... by the way, jumping is faster than just walking. In this run, the first worlds could be some frames faster with better optimized jumps. There are also some improvements from the sixth world onwards (those were later implemented in the improved run and the password-using run). Highlights: enemy tactics and health management in worlds 1 and 5. chasm zipping in 1-7. TAS-only tactic for the level 3-7 end. dealing with the monkey in world 4. skipping meeting the sister in world 5. a strange shortcut in level 5-7 that skips the end of the level. from sixth world onwards. Finally, some random info on tricks that hasn't been mentioned anywhere yet. you can make your jumps longer by taking damage in mid-air, but it's too little to be of any use anywhere in the game. if you take damage slightly below the platform, you can jump afterwards as if you were standing. Used once in world 3.
