“With the policy regulation relaxed and our inherent abilities in digital technologies, there is a tremendous amount of opportunity for India in the current technology domain. If you look at new projects, we have launched in our iDEX programme MAKE-1 and MAKE-2 programmes, those are in that direction. In March 2022, the Ministry of Defence approved unmanned combat land vehicles. As you know, unmanning is software-driven technology, and there is a tremendous capability in it. Hardware is part of every defence area, but the unmanning part is innovation. There is an enormous capability in the country in innovation.
