Behind-the-scenes: DZMM’s first moments back on the air | ABS-CBN News

Over five years since it bid farewell to listeners on free-to-air radio, DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 again greeted its Kapamilya upon signing on at 8PM on May 29, 2025. The airwaves again heard the iconic DZMM station ID theme song first introduced in 2005—this time sung by Martin Nievera. News anchor Alvin Elchico, one of the last voices on DZMM during the 2020 broadcast shutdown, helmed the “tried and tested” radio brand’s return with a recommitment to continue delivering the news and serving its audiences—and going straight to the news.
