[Con]nected: Stories from the Front Line Zero Trust and Google Cloud

Join us for a special session with guest speaker Enrique Alvarez. Enrique is a Public Sector Advisor in Google Cloud’s Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO). He specializes working with State, Local, and Educational partners, – including the US Government and Department of Defense – in adopting cloud and AI-enabled transformational goals. Prior to joining Google, Enrique retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after serving as a special agent and supervisor, where he led a cyber investigative squad focused on state-sponsored threats. Enrique also served as a commissioned officer in the US Navy, retiring from the reserve component in 2013. Enrique will be sharing stories that focus on Google's very first implementation of Zero Trust back in 2009 to help attendees get an inside look at the importance of Zero Trust and how a Zero Trust VPN is important in this day and age.
