The weight always matters, regardless of what you think about it. The sooner you understand this, the better! Does it mean that the lighter the bike is, the easier it is going to be for you? Well...not always! There are many other factors that will play a key role in this equation. How heavy are you, how much experience do you have, and what is the terrain that you plan to ride?
