I was really glad to visit an elephant sanctuary where the elephants are well looked after. It was great to see them thriving in such a caring environment. I also got to try more of the Karen tribe’s local food, which is truly unique and tied to their way of life. At the end of the day, I realized I had forgotten my camera on my bike overnight, but no one touched it! This really shows how safe Thailand is and how honest the people are, even in small villages where they don’t have much.
