When using this unit in a small room (ie a grow room) with the door closed this unit needs a outside air supply (and ducting) added on in order to maintain balanced air pressure in the room. Modification is to PREVENT the condenser fan from creating a negative pressure in the room where the unit is operating and also prevent it from using the air that is being conditioned to cool the condenser. In order to do this the unit needs to have a dedicated air supply added (with ducting) in order to isolate the condenser side from the room. As is; this type of AC unit is set up in any room with a window to use as a discharge port (via ducting) for the warm air from the condenser. If you use the same portal and add another duct, the unit can draw outside air (for the condenser) as well as discharge there too, the suction and discharge should be aimed away from each other and spaced as far apart as practical..This will eliminate the negative pressure problem in the room. A tin heating duct adaptor and a 10 foot flexible aluminum Dryer pipe can be purchased at any hardware store. You will also need a roll of aluminum duct tape and a roll of red tuck super sticky tape. Tin snipers, scissors a knife and some cardboard. In the video i make a coffee on my custom made brewer, that's the steam in the background, nice to have a coffee after a project is complete.
