Domino's vs Pizza Hut Thin Crust Pepperoni Lover Challenge Song #1 Uh-Oh by Slynk Song #2 Brainmelt by Underbelly Song #3 Tibet by HOVATOFF I decided to put one of my favorite Pizza up against Domino's Pepperoni Pizza's. I love thin crust pizzas which Pizza Hut is very good at making. I wondered whether Domino's was as good or any better, plus I decided to put them both to the re heat test by placing them in the fridge over night to see what happens when you re heat. Well I think Pizza Hut came out on top in both tests although not by a wide margin in the re-heat testing. Pizza Hut Pepperoni Lover Large Hand Tossed Pizza, Classic Marinara Sauce, Regular Cheese, Garlic Buttery Blend Crust Flavor Pizza Hut Principles. Our pizza restaurant was founded on them. Quality ingredients. Service with a smile. Relationships, of all kinds, matter. Also, and this is very important, make every pizza like it was for family. When we started, it probably was. Pizza Hut first opened in 1958 in Wichita, Kansas, when two brothers used $600 borrowed from their mom to open a pizza place. They named it Pizza Hut because the sign had just room for eight letters (so scientific). It, of course, grew. Because the pizza was awesome. The service felt like home. And the people treated the customer like family. Those same tenets apply today. It's how a restaurant should do business. For us, it's the same restaurant-quality food and service since 1958. Domino's How Was Domino’s Pizza Started? Domino’s pizza restaurant history began in 1960 with just one location. Back then, Domino’s was called DomiNick’s, and two brothers named Tom and James purchased it for just $500! Tom renamed the restaurant Domino’s Pizza five years later. Over the decades, Domino’s has grown from that one pizza restaurant to more than 5,600 U.S. pizza restaurants. Our history of success — and journey to becoming the world leader in pizza delivery — is thanks to great team members and loyal pizza fans. At What Point in Domino's History Did It Grow? After being renamed, franchise pizza restaurants began to open — one in 1967 and another in 1968. In the next 10 years, Domino’s opened 200 more locations. Domino’s became the fastest-growing pizza restaurant in the United States in 1985. Just 11 years later, in 1996, we launched this website. Since then, Domino’s continued to open new pizza restaurants while innovating online and off. When Did Domino’s Add Non-Pizza Items to Its Menu? In 2008, Domino’s became one of the world’s largest sandwich delivery restaurants overnight when it launched a line of toasty Oven Baked Sandwiches. In 2009, they added penne pasta and Chocolate Lava Crunch Cake to the menu. In 2010, Domino’s rolled out an entirely new pizza recipe, including new sauce, crust, and cheese. In 2011, Domino’s continued to revamp its menu, launching a new recipe for wings and boneless chicken and adding two new bread sides — Stuffed Cheesy Bread and Parmesan Bread Bites. The menu got even sweeter in 2015, with the addition of the Marbled Cookie Brownie.
