As Ramadan comes to a close, this conversation invites us to rethink what worship really looks like, especially for women. So many women enter Ramadan carrying responsibilities that can make traditional acts of worship feel out of reach: caring for children, managing homes, navigating their cycles, or simply feeling spiritually exhausted. Too often, these experiences are overlooked or even seen as barriers to worship. But what if they are actually part of our ibadah? In this episode, we explore the powerful idea that the unseen moments of patience, gratitude, nurturing, and service are also acts of devotion. We reflect on how community, empathy, and shared experiences can transform our understanding of worship. Sometimes the reminder we need comes through another. As the Prophet ﷺ taught, the believer is a mirror to another believer. In those reflections, we rediscover gratitude, perspective, and intention. Lets bring our “unconscious acts” to the forefront of our Ramadan experience and recognize that the circumstances we carry can become part of our spiritual journey when we turn them toward Allah with intention. As we close out the blessed month, this conversation is a reminder that nothing done sincerely for Allah is ever small—and sometimes the most transformative acts of worship are the ones no one else sees. May Allah accept from all of us and allow us to reach many Ramadans with deeper intention.
