In addition, no Diarahan Skip, and no Messiah Heart Items! Despite the runtime looks like a typical Theodore fight without the Diarahan Skip, the RNG required to win is close to, if not more than me trying to beat DDS 2 Satan with just Three Press-Turns. So how much harder is this version of the fight, beside not having the insurance of 999 HP, compared to Level 99? FeMC, while being just 5 Levels below Theodore's level, deals around 85% of the damage compared to Level 99. Theodore is also able to deal around 15% more damage to FeMC, meaning FeMC's innate HP at Level 94, without Rakukaja or Tarunda, is not enough to survive a physical attack if the damage number rolls Med to High, even with Resist Passives. At Level 94, the Heart Items from Messiah is unobtainable, due to Portable adding another skill to Messiah's learn-set, forcing the weapon slot to be the Orpheous Telos Weapon to reduce Theodore's Magic damage so it is survivable for one hit without Rakukaja or Tarunda, instead for High Counter or something else. Timestamp 0:00 ~ Persona Setup Every Evade passive in the skill slot is used to give FeMC the best chance to dodge Theodore's incoming attacks. In Portable, the effect of Barbaric Bracers WILL stack with all of the individual Evade Passives, effectively reducing the enemy's hit-rate to 30% of its innate value. This is also TRUE in Persona 3 Vanilla and FES, however in the PS2 versions, enemy's Hit-Rate cannot go below 50%! This one key difference of removing the enemy Hit-Rate cap, effectively made this challenge possible in the first place, despite Theodore hitting like a Trunk loaded with heavy cargo. ----- 0:16 ~ Equipment Setup A FeMC playthrough has a distinct advantage here due to able to equip the Female Only Shoes and Amor. Weapon Slot: Orpheous Telos Weapon to reduce the elemental magic damage combined with the Resist flag from Persona. Armor: Despite the low Defense on the Armor, the + 30HP effect proved to be invaluable for surviving a physical attack without Tarunda or Rakukaja. Originally, was going to use the FeMC's summer outfit to grant the + 30HP effect, however FeMC would die if the damage rolled high due to Armor's 60 Defense value. Rangda Robe provides a higher Defense while still providing the + 30HP effect. Shoes: Without the Shoes of Light, the best alternative being the Eternal Shoes, which provides a Evade Magic(High) effect to subtracts Theodore's Fire, Ice, Elec, and Wind's Hit-Rate by another 15%. Accessory: Barbaric Bracers grants the Passive Effect Ali Dance. ----- 0:39 ~ Pre-Diarahan In order to beat Theodore without the Diarahan skip, the general strategy is to attack at every opportunity possible, if hit while Best Friends effect is active and close to around half HP use Cadenza to up the Evasion Rate further. On the Mudo turn, use either Sukukaja to increase the Evasion Rate if FeMC is at Full HP or Cadenza if not. ----- 17:43 ~ Preparation to trigger Diarahan Purposely delayed the push until after Theodore used Wind. This was done since Dionysus is the only Persona in this build that resists a second element while can deal damage to trigger the Diarahan, since after the Diarahan Theodore will use the last element that was used previously, in this case it is Wind. Just make sure either Cadenza or Sukukaja is active before the push to give the best chance of dodging. 19:37 ~ Theodore's Diarahan Dialogue The halfway mark, and uses Metatron to heal himself. ----- 20:00 ~ Post Diarahan Just concentrate on getting Theodore HP below 10,000 a second time. ----- 27:56 ~ Fuuka's Oracle MVP This is one scenario that could be disastrous, with FeMC getting hit on the Ailment Turn. Fortunately with Fuuka's Oracle, FeMC can recover to Full HP without spending a turn after the 9,999 Megidolaon turn. ----- 34:32 ~ Final Blow With one final Megidolaon Gem dealing exact 200 damage and Armageddon, the battle concludes.
