Loading the Redshift Sports 30° Shockstop Suspension Stem / Link

I've noticed in other Videos much more action in the Shockstop Stem. You don't always want a lot of shock absorption but we're not Racing, often. I did the "load experiment" as described in the Video, it'll give me an opportunity to let you know what happened later. I'm curious too. My conclusions are based on a simple descriptive graph, we'll see what happens. I'm typically on the Tops or the Hoods. I reserve the Drops for Technical Riding, head-winds and zoom-time! Unless I'm on the Hoods, I'm not using my full leverage for the Stem travel. Relaxed Cycling on the Tops near center is a bit rougher than I'd like. The effect is proportional, like a crow-bar, it matters where your hand-weigh is located to "load" the Stem. Flat Bars don't have that consideration, in general the load will be the same because of hand position on the Grips. It would be a more consistent ride. Flat Bars are worth a later Chapter, they definitely have a place. The Instructions don't cover a 30° Stem, only the 6°. So I believed it was a Technical Writing oversight. I sent Redshift Sports this Video about "loading" and they assured me I was correct. They said the 30 degree Stem was a "low seller" and they didn't consider it an issue as the 'Load Instructions' are basically "a guide". Riding Style matters, body types matter too. Redshift concurded with my 15% conclusion. They have the best Customer Service of any Bike Component Manufacturer in the Business. I have found no fault in the Engineering.
