What started out as an invitation to hike around the Ste Baume (France) turned out to be a nice (somewhat) unplanned flight. Fred took his wing and a spare mini - just in case - but the forecast wasn’t favorable. We met Loic in the parking who was hiking up with his wing. With this as an extra motivation, we hiked up with a load only to find Martin already airborne. We geared up, I went with a mini thinking this will be a nice hike & fly exercise but I stayed up easily - amazingly enough. I wasn’t really dressed up for it, wearing only light clothes so after about 35 minutes I was shivering and decided to land with a bonus flight under my belt. What a gorgeous day, perfect blue skies and unlimited visibility on this November 11, a day to remember. Many thanks to Fred for making this possible.
