Keyboard: Polaris by Ai03 PCB: Dyz60 made by Dayat.py Switches: Gateron milky yellow housings & Kailh Pro Burgundy stem lubed w/ krytox 205g0 Springs: Stock springs lubed w/ krytox 105 Keycaps: GMK Oblivion Monochrome Plate: Full G10 plate made by Project Vulcan Board Insulation: Plate foam & really thin PE foam For me, Polaris has a really pleasing sound signature that can alter the class of budget linear switches like gateron yellow to a whole new level. For this build, I want to experiment with quite expensive boards & cheap switches, and it works on both Kei & Polaris. I think Polaris has a softer typing feel compared to Kei & I think I will experiment more later. My future plan for this board is to use POM plate & Inks v1 like Andy recommends. Overall the sound is really deep, poppy, clacky & really dry since it uses a G10 plate ( basically the same with fr4 ). I don't hear any hollowness even though I don't use thick foam for the case.
