It increases the water crossing ability and sets you up for easy quick future upgrades. Monday to Friday you can have the low mount installed for the office and Friday night to Sunday you can have the high mount installed. With the design, it is very easy to swap back and forth. With the low mount configuration you also will have a low key look to the Jeep without attracting much attention. Some will have the high mount for the looks while others will have it for function. Regardless, the ability to switch will allow you have to less wind noise on highway speeds with the low mount. You can easily attach the high mount once you get to the offroad site. Base price of the low mount at the time is ~ $500 To add the high mount later is ~ $150 Pre dust filter is ~ $70 Base price of the low mount together with High mount in a package ~ $600 , about $50 savings.
