AUSTRIA * Tauern Cycle Route * Krimml - Mittersill - Epi01 ENGLISH

In this video series, I'm taking you with me to Austria, where I'm cycling a section of the Tauern Cycle Route. The Tauern Cycle Route runs from Krimml, home to Europe's highest waterfall, to Passau on the Danube. However, I'm only cycling the section between Krimml and Salzburg, though I'm also making a detour to Maria Alm, from where a variant of the cycle route leads to Salzburg. A few years ago, I cycled the Tauern Cycle Route on my bio-bike. Back then in October, the weather wasn't entirely cooperative at first. So, I'm also incorporating some elements from that previous trip. This time, I'm doing the tour on my little e-bike and keeping the daily distances manageable. I booked my accommodations in advance. You may call it a leisurely tour. I really enjoyed this little tour and hope that if you're thinking of cycling this route yourself sometime, you can get a good first impression. This episode starts with my almost two-day train journey to the starting point of this tour, but then there are plenty of absolutely breathtaking landscapes to see, including the impressive waterfall near Krimml. Oh yeah, and music makes the sound... or something like that? So, I came up with something to add a bit more energy to the videos. The text (you can't really call it lyrics) is mine, but I used a little help from AI just to generate the sound of the music. Oh, and one more thing: I originally recorded this video series in English, which you get to see here, but since most of my viewers are probably from German-speaking countries and it's a bit tiring for them to always read subtitles, so this time I went a different route, did a voiceover in German. and provided a separate German version of this video, marked by a pink star "Version DEUTSCH".
