Vietnam’s vice President arrives in Kathmandu for official visit

Vice President of Vietnam, Vo Thi Anh Xuan arrived in Nepal on Saturday for a three-day official visit. This marks the first high-level visit from Vietnam to Nepal since the establishment of diplomatic ties nearly 50 years ago. VP Xuan was welcomed at Tribhuvan Airport by Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba and other ministers. She was accorded a Guard of Honor by the Nepal Army, with formal reception ceremonies held at the VVIP lounge. On August 24, Vice President Yadav and his Vietnamese counterpart will hold delegation-level bilateral talks in Kathmandu. During her visit, Vice President Xuan will also meet President Paudel and PM Oli during her visit.
