Mark Boden has recently resigned from his post. Mark Bowden, outgoing United Nations humanitarian co-ordinator for Somalia, has called for increased international aid to the Horn of Africa nation. With two million people still dependent on food aid, Bowden says the country's food crisis is not dissipating.
